This Course has been designed to meet the requirements as per the guidelines given in IMO Model Course 1.10 - Dangerous, Hazardous & Harmful Cargoes, STCW Code Section B-V/b & Section B-V/c, The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), The International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes (IMSBC) Code, The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code & Title 49, Subchapter C of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
This Course covers the following topics:

·Regulatory Requirements under the IMDG, IMSBC and SOLAS Conventions
·Familiarization with requirements of section C 49 of the US Code of Federal Regulation (CFR)
·Classification and Identification of Dangerous Substances
·Safe Handling Procedures and Operational Guidelines
·Stowage, Transportation, and Segregation Requirements
·Precautionary Measures and Emergency Response Protocols
