Scope (Target audience): The Course is designed for anyone wishing to act the Role of DPA along with all office Personnel involved in ISM implementation.
Objective: To enable the participant to carry out the functions of Designated Person Ashore (DPA) under the provisions of ISM and to provide comprehensive training related to the implementation and maintenance of a company’s SMS in compliance with the requirements of the ISM Code.
This course fulfils the IMO MSC-MEPC.7/ Circ.6 “Guidance on the qualification, training and experience necessary for undertaking the role of the Designated Person under the provisions of the ISM Code.”
